VeggieTales Family Devotional
(Five Stars) A Good Foundation
My son who is 5 has been a Veggie fan for as long as he knows. I was making up all sorts of silly activities and reading random Scripture for our family devotionals. After running out of plans, I saw this book and ordered it. It’s very practical for most parents and kids. We love the silly stories and fun Bible facts with each devotional. Sections include a story, Bible reading, discussion questions, Bible fact, game and application section. You don’t have to do all of it but we try to. Some nights we get in bed late so we had to skip the book and just pray. My son literally cries if we don’t read his devotional; he absolutely loves it. You will see Biblical application of Scripture in this devotional. Not just cute stories but good foundation for our Children. Topics range from perseverance, humility, faith when all fails, loving our neighbors and the list goes on and on. Thanks Veggie family!

Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed
(Five Stars) Wholesome, Balanced, Hilarious
I had no idea a kids video could be this funny and still communicate a message. Rumors, as we grown-ups pretend to know, are bad, bad, bad. And we know a rumor can have implications which devastate the victim. In this computer-animated tale, a rumor is spread, and a weed is the metaphor. Unless the weed is removed, it grows and infests the VeggieTales world. Feel confident that the Big Idea group has done it again, bringing wholesome, balanced, hilarious entertainment into your family’s life. I fully recommend this video.

(Five Stars) A Wonderful Tool
As a teacher of first grade, I can honestly say that this book is a wonderful tool for teaching children about the messes that lies create in our lives. This book is extremely silly, so the subject of lying is more approachable by children. My 4-year-old niece pretends to read this story to me every day and we just love it!
